DECATUR, Ala. — The Pickwick Belle, a 112-passenger paddle wheel riverboat, began operating tours on Wheeler Lake and the Tennessee River June 9 after moving from its previous home in Florence, Ala.

The 90-foot-long, double deck riverboat, which operated a six-week trail run in Decatur last summer, offers sightseeing, dinner and theme cruises and is available for charter.

“The Tennessee River is an asset to the city of Decatur, and we are excited the Pickwick Belle will be showcasing its beauty for locals and visitors to enjoy,” said Tami Reist, president of the Decatur/Morgan County Convention and Visitors Bureau.
