Although it’s not an official presidential library, the Lyndon B. Johnson National Historic Park near Fredericksburg, Texas, offers a remarkable look into the life of this former president with memorabilia from Johnson’s presidency and interactive displays.

Not only does this historic park welcome groups with guided tours of sites like LBJ’s birthplace, the ranch, the Texas White House and the Johnson family cemetery, but guests can also see firsthand what life was like for early Americans at the Sauer-Beckmann Living History Farm.
