A Faith-Filled Adventure for the Whole Family: The Ark Encounter and Creation Museum
Sponsored Content
It’s an adventure filled with biblical truth for the whole family! The world’s two leading Christian themed attractions are in Northern Kentucky, just 45 minutes apart from each other. With awe-inspiring exhibits, beautiful botanical gardens, friendly zoo animals, world-class playgrounds, and so much more, the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum are must-see destinations for every family.
Ark Encounter
The Ark Encounter features a full-size reconstruction of Noah’s Ark. It’s an architectural wonder to behold outside and inside.
Outside the Ark, you’ll marvel at the size—510 feet long (or one and a half football fields in length), 85 feet wide, and 51 feet high. Inside the Ark, 130 exhibits bring the biblical account vividly to life.
Back outside the Ark, meet friendly animals in our interactive children’s zoo area, walk with the kangaroos in our walkabout, observe exotic animals, feed the camels, or enjoy a live animal program.
Head to the world-class playground for fun with the kids, ride the custom carousel, travel back in time with our virtual reality experience, soar above the treetops on our zip lines and aerial adventure course, tap your toes at a concert in our 2,500-seat auditorium, or learn from our speakers during a presentation.
Then grab dinner in our delicious buffet or one of our other grab-and-go venues and finish off with some fudge, a cookie, or some ice cream for dessert. Browse our gift shop for fun souvenirs, faith-affirming resources, or unique fair trade gifts.

Creation Museum
The Creation Museum is just 45 minutes north of the Ark Encounter. More than a museum, it’s a walk through biblical history with stunning exhibits that showcase the truth of God’s Word, including the most powerful pro-life exhibit in the world, Fearfully and Wonderfully Made, an insectarium, and a two-story dinosaur den.
After touring the museum, enjoy a planetarium show under our massive dome, see creation come to life with a special effects theater program, or head into our auditorium for a concert or live presentation.
Outside the Creation Museum, our beautiful botanical gardens point guests to the wonder of God’s creation, and our zoo and wallaby walkabout bring friendly animals up close.
After the zoo, stroll over to the Butterfly House to be surrounded by hundreds of North American butterflies and then head toward the four massive greenhouses that make up our Plants of the Bible Conservatory. Exhibiting the plants of the Bible, it’s unique in the world and envelops you in the sights and smells of the Holy Land in biblical times.
Grab dinner in Sprig & Stone, a brand-new casual dining restaurant, or enjoy a sweet treat from Uncle Leroy’s Fudge.
