PAWTUCKET, Rhode Island — Pawtucket-based tour operator Collette Vacations has streamlined its name to Collette and has revamped its logo and tagline.
Company officials said the changes reflect the company’s continued growth in the tour operator industry and the shifting needs of its travelers.
“The experiences our guests have on our tours go beyond a vacation,” said Kristine Chochrek, vice president of marketing and advertising for Collette. “There’s a social aspect and cultural immersion that create impactful connections with the locals and like-minded travelers. It broadens their perspectives and recharges their senses. So while others may call it a vacation, we call it part of a life well-lived.”
Collette’s new tagline is Guided by Travel.
The company’s recognizable green hue and globe remain, but it has been connected to the “C” to represent Collette’s commitment to travel. The connected “t’s” reflect a sense of road and motion, while lowercasing its name was intended to reflect a more welcoming nature.
Collette also launched a new website, www.gocollette.com, which includes more tour specific content in a user-friendly format, an enhanced search feature and a revamped online booking engine.
