“Anne Beiler was the inspiration we hoped she’d be,” said conference partner Charlie Presley. “When we learned that Anne was a native to the area, we had to have her come offer our keynote address. She’s a remarkable woman and businessperson.”
More than 5,000 business appointments were held between faith-based planners and travel industry delegates over the three days. A comprehensive social media and video production program complemented the proceedings. Presley; his partner, Mac Lacy; and others interviewed dozens of delegates and speakers over the course of the event.
A new tradition began at this conference when Cracker Barrel Old Country Store donated four rocking chairs to a local charity of the host city’s choosing. In Lancaster, the rockers went to COBY’S Family Services, a Christian-based nonprofit that offers foster care and related services to local families.
Next year’s Going On Faith Conference takes place in Cabarrus County, North Carolina, August 5-7. For more information on that event, visit www.gofconference.com, or call 800-628-0993.
