British Airways launches Groups Travel Hub

British Airways has made booking group flights as easy as the click of a button through their Groups Travel Hub. This online groups booking service give group leaders or agents instant availability, online seating and ticketing information for their group reservations.

The online reservation system not only shows what is instantly available on every British Airways flight, it also allows group leaders to search plus or minus seven days, so the planner can find the best availability and price. The online service is available to groups both globally branded and niche specialty groups, such as conference, sports, student, missionary and leisure tours.

Group leaders or agents can not only find seating through the 24-hour service, but they can also make payments, or request upgrades and amendments. Any change in a flight itinerary will be automatically emailed as a reminder to the person who booked the group flight.

“This specialized online groups service will save travel companies time and give agents complete control over their bookings,” said Julie Thomas, group sales manager for British Airways’ Groups Travel Hub. “The system is extremely user-friendly and was designed so minimal training is required, making it easy for agents to get set up with the hub.”

British Airways Groups Travel Hub is also offering registered travel companies a chance to win a trip to their choice of a European destination. Group bookings made on Groups Travel Hub before the end of August will be eligible to win. New accounts registered before August 31 will also earn a $50 Amazon gift card for a first booking. These accounts must be Air Transport Association (IATA) registered to win.
