Located in Lexington, Nebraska, The Crossing Retreat Center is an easy-to-reach destination for groups from Nebraska, northern Kansas and the Omaha metro area. Just an hour east of North Platte, a couple of hours west of Lincoln and three hours from Omaha, it’s close enough to be convenient yet far enough away to feel like a true escape. Groups love that unmistakable sense of “getting away” during their event!
But don’t let The Crossing’s rural location fool you… the property is far from rustic! The Crossing underwent massive renovations from 2022 to 2024 and now has a premier meeting space and coveted lodging accommodations. Paired with the beautifully kept grounds, this small market venue is truly a hidden treasure.
The Crossing offers year-round accommodations for up to 520 overnight guests. They offer all-inclusive packages that help keep planning simple and affordable for event planners. A package includes lodging, dining, meeting and recreation – everything your group needs for a successful event!
Buffet dining is standard in all retreat packages. We offer self-service buffet lines for an all-you-can-eat meal at breakfast, lunch and dinner. Plus, our Snack Bar is a great option for guests hanging out at the Activity Center or the outdoor Quad area. The Snack Bar serves up items off the grill, flavorful appetizers, cool treats and fresh brewed coffee.

The Crossing also offers two premium recreation options, minimal charges for staffing and supplies, Go Karts and the Inflatable Slide. The Go Kart track features exciting twists and turns for an off-road adventure. The Inflatable Slide is set up in the recreation fields and can be used with or without water. Guests will love the challenge of climbing to the top and racing their friends to the bottom.
The Auditorium, The Crossing’s primary meeting venue is equipped with high-end audio, visual and lighting equipment. The best part… groups get to use this equipment for free! No hidden fees when you need an extension cord or converter last minute. Plus, our guest services team will have your meeting space set to your specifications upon arrival. The Auditorium features a foyer and three side rooms perfect for a green room, camp office or nursery.
The Crossing offers six additional meeting spaces, perfect for small and mid-size groups. These spaces can be set in a variety of ways: rows, classroom or u-shape. All meeting spaces offer the same guest services experience: a private space set to your specifications with complimentary use of A/V equipment.
