Bring your group to the Ark Encounter — one of the most popular tourist destinations in Kentucky!
This attraction, located in Williamstown, KY, features a life-size model of the biblical ark recorded in Genesis. At 510 feet long, 85 feet wide, and 51 feet high, the Ark is a modern engineering marvel that awes guests at first sight of its immense timber-frame structure—but the outside is just the beginning! The interior of the Ark includes three decks of exhibits on topics ranging from animal care on the ark to post-flood geology, the ice age, and much more. You’ll enjoy seeing how Noah and his family might have set up their living quarters, how many animals would have needed to fit on the ark, and how this catastrophic global event changed our world.
In addition to the Ark itself, Ark Encounter has much to offer. Multiple food venues provide a variety of meal, coffee, and snack options, and our gift shops are a great place to find resources, Ark-themed souvenirs, and one-of-a-kind gifts!
During your visit, you’ll also want to make sure to visit the Ararat Ridge Zoo, where you’ll enjoy seeing and learning about exotic animals like lemurs, African-crested porcupines, emus, and sloths. And children and adults alike love meeting the friendly pigs and goats in the petting zoo as well as the red kangaroos in our walkabout. Camel experiences (or rides for children) are available most days at an additional cost.

From July 30 to September 7, 2024, the Ark Encounter is partnering with Abraham Productions to host an array of musical talent during the 40 Days and 40 Nights of Christian Music Festival. This annual event is immensely popular and features sought-after speakers and Christian music artists from multiple genres, including Southern Gospel, Faith Country, Contemporary, and Bluegrass. These concerts are free with Ark admission, so they’re an excellent addition to your experience!
